Faith Aligned Mortgage Broking

Helping Christians make wise financial decisions with confidence and care

We’re an Australian mortgage broker, built specifically for Christian families and ministry workers. As experienced mortgage brokers, our mission is to help Australian families make wise financial decisions that align with their faith, values, and long-term priorities.

We believe good advice should support more than a transaction. It should serve the life you are called to live.

Why We Started Lending Hands

Because faith and finance is not disconnected

Lending Hands was started out of a simple conviction. Financial decisions shape the way people live, serve, and give, yet many Christians feel rushed, overwhelmed, or unheard when navigating mortgages.

We saw people being pushed to borrow more than they were comfortable with. Ministry income being misunderstood. Long term consequences rarely explained.

Lending Hands exists to offer a different way forward. One built on patience, clarity, and stewardship.

What Sets Lending Hands Apart

What will feel different when you work with Lending Hands

Real Generosity

Your mortgage can support more than your own household. We give 25% of our commission to gospel aligned causes, including sponsoring children through Compassion. That means every loan arranged through Lending Hands helps fund real care, education, and long-term support.

You do not pay more. You are simply choosing a broker whose work gives beyond themselves.

“We love that they donate to charity on our behalf!”
- Jess G.

Real Stewardship

We help you make decisions you can live with long term. That means explaining trade-offs, modelling realistic scenarios, and never pushing you to borrow more than is wise. Sometimes the right advice is to slow down or wait.

Success for us is not loan size. It is confidence and peace of mind.

“showed what our finances could look like over 30 years. No push to over-borrow.”
- Matthew K-N.

Real Difference

We understand the realities of Christian family life and ministry income. Stipends, allowances, changing seasons, and uncertainty are not edge cases for us. They are part of everyday conversations.

You will be met with patience, understanding, and advice shaped around your actual situation.

“They really understood our situation as a ministry family better than anyone else.”
- Sarah & David

How we help

What working with Lending Hands looks like

Working with Lending Hands is intentionally calm and unhurried. Conversations start with understanding your situation, not selling a product. We take time to explain your options clearly, talk through trade-offs, and help you decide what makes sense for your life now and in the years ahead.

We are not here just to get you approved and move on. We stay involved beyond settlement, checking in as circumstances change and helping you adjust when life looks different to what you first planned.

Talking through rent-vesting and buying decisions

Faith in Action

Generosity, Built In

From the beginning, we wanted generosity to be part of the structure of Lending Hands, not something added on later.

Giving is not a marketing idea for us. It's a conviction. We give because we've been deeply loved by God in his Son. That's why 20% of every upfront commission we receive is donated to gospel aligned causes, including sponsoring children through Compassion.

When you work with Lending Hands, your mortgage can help support children and families in the majority world without costing you anything extra. It is a tangible way your home decision can help support children and families for years to come.
