From the beginning, we wanted to build in generousity to our work. That's why we give 20% of our upfront commission to your choice out of our panel.
With each loan, together we contribute to real outcomes for kids overseas, equipping future church leaders, and organisations doing long-term work.

A year of hitting 100s
2025 was a year of hitting many of our goals set out when we first started Lending Hands!

We sponsored Katoomba Easter Convention for the first time!
It was great to have met so many people from different churches and be able to help people think through their faith and money story.

2024
Seeing the impact in person
A big highlight was visiting the Philippines and seeing the impact of Compassion in person!
We met so many incredible people but one conversation really struck me, when I asked a sponsored child "what do you like to do after school?"
He looked at me with a big smile, "I like to come to church after school. This is the only place where I feel safe, I love it here"
Seeing both the practical and spiritual impact firsthand was a strong reminder that we’re supporting the right organisation and the right kind of work.

2023
Caring for those who care for God's people
From the beginning, we felt a strong desire to support pastors, particularly where ministry income and calling weren’t always well understood in lending conversations.
In 2023, we stepped more intentionally into that space by supporting events like the FIEC Conference and the Reach Australia Conference, walking alongside those serving in ministry.

2022
Vision starting to take shape
2022 was the year the vision started to become reality.
As more families trusted us with their home loan decisions, the foundations of Lending Hands began to strengthen, and we were able to sponsor our fisrt 6 kids!

2021
Taking the first step
In 2021, after much prayer and reflection, Sion left the banking industry to start Lending Hands!
From day one, generosity was part of the vision, with these kids being the first of child sponsorships marking the beginning of an ongoing commitment to support children and families through gospel-aligned work.
At this stage, we were sponsoring Desmol, a child sponsored when Sion was still in University
