What your lending decisions have made possible
This page shares what has actually happened so far through Lending Hands.
Each loan we help with contributes to real outcomes for families, people in ministry, and organisations doing long-term work. We believe it’s important to show this clearly, with facts rather than promises.

Turning everyday decisions into long-term good
Impact at Lending Hands isn’t an add-on or a campaign. It’s built into how we operate.
A portion of every settled loan is set aside for giving. That means when someone chooses to work with Lending Hands, their mortgage decision contributes to outcomes beyond their own household without increasing the cost of their loan.
We currently direct giving toward child sponsorship through Compassion, ministry training, and initiatives that support the long-term health of local churches. These partnerships are chosen carefully, reviewed regularly, and shaped by a desire for faithfulness over visibility.
The result is steady, compounding impact driven by ordinary financial decisions made with clarity and intention.

Want to know how much impact your loan could make?
Right now, there are more than $2 trillion worth of mortgages in Australia. Even with our current model, if just 1% were refinanced, it would generate $32.5 million that could be donated to life-changing work. This is equivalent to 56,423 years of impact through the child sponsorship program. Imagine the difference that could make to ending poverty on all levels.
